Dr. Alyssa PutmaN
Optometrist/Owner
Hello! I’m Alyssa, I was born and raised in Campbell, NY and graduated undergrad at Penn State University. I went on to earn my Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2012. Over the last 12 years I have been fortunate to work in a variety of optometric settings, which has fueled my desire to start Oasis Eye Care. I love getting to know my patients, treating them like family, and providing them with quality eye care and eyewear. In addition to being trained in ocular disease, I have a special interest in dry eye disease, myopia control, and digital eye strain.
During my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and our dogs. I also am very close with my immediate family who I love dearly and my many close friends, I’m fortunate to have. I love spending time outdoors in any way possible whether gardening, tending to our land, or being near water. I’m very passionate about health, fitness and wellness, cooking, traveling, and squeezing in time to relax.
ALBERT LUCARELLI
OPTICIAN
Albert is a familiar face, known to patients for the past 35 years with Dr. Waite. He's excited to continue serving their eyewear needs as the practice transitions with Dr. Putman. Several new frame lines have been introduced that he can't wait for patients to explore.
In his limited free time, you'll find him enjoying Owasco Lake, visiting family in Boston, or attending a board meeting.
BRIAN BURBANK
OPTICIAN
Brian brings more than a decade of optical experience to Oasis Eye Care. He began his career with Empire Vision (now Visionworks), where he quickly advanced into management and earned his Ophthalmic Dispensing License. After many years as an optician with Guthrie, Brian is excited to bring his expertise to a private practice setting.
A true family man and nature lover, Brian enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and the occasional piña colada—even if he’s not into yoga!
DONNA
RECEPTIONIST
Donna is another familiar face at the practice, having worked with Dr. Waite and Albert for the past four years. She looks forward to continuing to serve patients alongside Dr. Putman.
In her free time, Donna enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and walking outside.
LORI
RECEPTIONIST
Born and raised in Elmira, Lori brings over seven years of experience in the ophthalmology field to the team. She’s passionate about providing exceptional patient care and helping every visitor feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside of work, Lori loves spending time with her family, tending to her yard and garden, and diving into a good book. She’s also a proud Swiftie and a fan of all things gnomes!
